This Nosferatu brings some worthy updates to the Nosferatu universe. If Herzog brought it into the talkies, Eggers gives it the full Hollywood treatment with detailed sound effects and storybook-like cinematography. Lily-Rose Depp deserves praise for her truly haunted spasmodic episodes. This is where it shines.
