UGHHHHHH.
This is exactly the action slop with horrid writing, flat attempts at humor, generic music, annoying needle drops, and ZERO good characters you think it is. Only reason I didn’t hate this more was because it at least had SOMETHING to say. Was it something fresh and new? No. Was it presented in a cool unique way? No. Was it profound in its exploration of said themes? No. But it was something, and when you watch shit like this, you really gotta take what you can get.

We really went from Jim Carrey’s Robotnik carrying the other two movies on his back to Jim Carrey’s Robotniks being the WORST part of the movie, and that makes me so sad. For the first time, this movie franchise had an interesting character and they completely WASTED it, creating a movie with really really bad tonal whiplash as a result.
At least it was funny bad, and at least he got to piss on the moon…
