I was recommended this by a mate for its soundtrack alone, and they were absolutely right - this is chocked with bangers!

But it started to annoy me after a while. Especially when you have the main character finally and triumphantly kiss the love interest, and they decide to play Pictures of You by The Cure. It’s such a small detail, but I kinda tuned into the fact that they were just dumping any old song in at any point…

I was really looking forward to this! Back in 2006/7 era YouTube, when it was filled with random award winning short films people uploaded, I watched Adam Elliot’s Harvey Krumpet religiously. I’m pretty sure I had it embedded onto my MySpace page!

I’m a bit gobsmacked. My only criticism is that there’s maybe one or two moments of wobbly acting. But regardless, you truly feel every bit of this!

The highest recommendation I can ultimately give is that this reminded me of one of my favourite films Come & See.

This film achieves so much in such a short run time. It’s genuinely harrowing, frustrating, upsetting, and then finally haunting.
