  the first half had me dying in laughter and really feeling for these women. i started breaking in the second half, the funny bits started feeling wrong. exceptional acting though and beautiful portrayal of community living in Montreal. ultimately not my cup of tea but so down for more French Canadian cinema!!

  I really missed these sorts of movies. I was so stressed at multiple points because I kept imagining the worst case scenarios for other characters... Exhausting to always think like that and so refreshing to just see humanity play out in its purest form. Finding a movie to watch with my parents that they will both enjoy is tough and this one definitely made the cut maybe even scored high on my dad's tear scale.

  Really wasn't sure where things were going in the first act and that was unnerving but in a fun way. But by the third act, everything just felt too clean, cheesy and lost all of its mystery. It didn't quite come together for me.
