It’s a shame that John Challis couldn’t endure long enough to bring Boyce to the In The Lost Lands franchise
That said, I’d like to see Dave Bautista sub in as Boyce for the inevitable Only Fools And Horses reunion some day.

Can’t fault its ambition, but did I think it was any good? I dunno, to be honest. At points I found it bloated and dull, at other times intriguing, if not profound.
I think it was trying to say too much, and in the end, says very little we don’t already know. The ‘American Dream’ chews people up and spits them out at the end, unless you’re WASP? We’re at risk of history continuing to repeat itself? Generational trauma exists?…
A couple fun moments, but overall I had no idea what the fuck was going on, and I didn’t really care.
The animation is beautiful, I love to seeing how Pixar continually push the boundaries of the medium in a visual sense.
The film, though, feels very much Pixar-by-numbers. Commendable that they’ve tried to tell a tale about immigrant communities and interracial relationships, but it feels so thinly-realised and stale.
