While I admire the cast of vulnerable performances, especially from Colman Domingo and the RTA alumni, and while I admire the intentions of this project, spotlighting the RTA, laying bare the hearts and souls of the incarcerated and preaching a positive message of healing, rehabilitation and persistence in the face of a broken system, I was left bothered by this film.
