Don’t know how to rate this one. Controversies aside, as a movie the first half just kind of bored me, the 2nd half was significantly more interesting and had some interesting scenes discussing the importance of art and how it varies between individuals and how that affects romantic relationships.
Also the cinematography was an interesting stylistic choice but really didn’t work for me after a while. The whole movie is just these super tight closeups in this very wide screen…
A fun goofy time, surprisingly violent in parts. I feel like I’m rating it so low cause I had a really hard time following the motivations of each character, rating will probably go up upon rewatch
