  What worked 

  -it really didnt start out incredibly convincing put picked up very well 
  - gorgeous park chan wok visuals (that transition from kidmans hair to the meadow woahh)
  -twisty story a la handmaidens tale 
  —works well as a twisty thriller
  - the themes the movie concerns itself with (coming of age, family, hunting/disciplin,..,) are tackled well throughout the movie 
  -reminds me of carrie

  What didnt
  -The movie is a little cluttered with side characters (but thats not too much…

  Out of Love for the Movies! 
  i could write about 189 minutes whyBabylon is truly unique and propably the most memorable of the pretty memorable year 2022, but let's leave it at that. 

  there are one and a half things I want to point out on the less positive side of things: for one the puke-piss-shit-jokes kind of blind-sided me in this one and seemed a little infantile at some point. And secondly the plotline linkes to Toby Mcguires character…

  -hugh grant is just charismatic as fuck, no matter what kind of British, inhibited, sexy buffoon he plays this time

  -the main romance just didnt speak to me "oh that's because They can't communicate" is just not enough of a plot unless you are going to take it to the point of scenes from a marriage
