I don't think I really got invested in this one until the end when there were people playing people playing people. I think there were a few moments that were too abstract for me and I'd need to sit and think about them for a little until I get it. But the main message sort of hit, especially working in film, where you end up creating this piece of artwork that's a reflection of your lift.…

Really enjoyed this one. It sort of spoke to me on another level but I know not a single thing about Chinese culture. I loved the outsider feel and it was so fun. Definitely teared up at the end with the mom. Very much enjoyed this one.

Wow. I grew up with this music, when I saw the show on Broadway in 6th grade. As a theater geek, my entire circle of friends constantly sang the songs and quoted it.
This film exceeded all expectations and quelled any doubts I had. So many chills and laughter, Ariana grande is probably my favorite part of the movie. She does not disappoint.

This has everything you want in a gladiator movie with a touch of game of thrones. My problem was that I had way more interest in the Rome politics than in Paul Mescal’s character. I wish he was more involved with the scheming side of things but I guess that’s okay. His character was just sort of there. It sort of played as a device in the end but it didn’t have as much weight until that point.
Overall though a fun entertaining movie.
