Imagine the poor naive bastards who saw this back in 1990 because it was made by one of the creators of mega hit Twin Peaks. What makes this even better is that this is probably one of Lynch’s more “mainstream” movies as it’s a relatively linear romance homaging a universally beloved movie. But to the average moviegoer this would be like going from a fun rollercoaster ride to skydiving while on coke in the same day.
