  Alison Steadman is so good, particularly (as other people have said on here) when you consider how different she was in Nuts In May, which she appeared in just before this.

  I loved this. A film about loneliness that's empathetic but never saccharine or sentimental. Ernest Borgnine is so charming, and Betsy Blair is great too.

  Really liked this. It looks fantastic and has an absolutely stacked cast. Everyone was good but I particularly enjoyed Denholm Elliott, Maggie Smith and Daniel Day-Lewis.
