It takes a little while for the title of the movie to fully come into play but when it does you can't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
Hammy and bizarre performances are turned in from John Travolta and Nicholas Cage in the lead roles as men on opposite sides of the law. The premise of this movie flips all of this on its head however as the leads get to experience life in the others' shoes.…

One of the main themes of the movie is that parents are essentially making things up as they go along, trying to avoid mistakes but ultimately they are unsure of what is really best for their kids. I watched the movie with my 8 year…
This movie surprised me in all the right ways. The movie being well animated and funny were about the best hopes I could have going into it. I can say I wasn't disappointed on that front, but what I didn't expect was such a surprising amount of heart from this Shrek spin off, which poignantly tackles topics such as belonging, trust, loyalty, ageing, and the enivtabilty of death.

A boring, meandering, will they won't they story (I used the word story very lightly) about two extremely unlikable characters.
The initial promise of the film is quickly eroded by the haphazard storytelling that attempts to rely on cameos to provide entertainment. What is the motivations of the two main characters? What are they thinking or feeling at any given moment? Who the fuck knows.. Every scene is completely random and has nothing to do with the previous one. A tiresome and confusing watch which left me feeling nothing other than that my time had been wasted.
