I'd never seen this outside of required pop culture clips.
1) As someone who was raised Catholic in a primarily Catholic community I find it /fascinating/ what this movie was trying to portray and why.
I'll never understand why christianity based in the second and third great awakenings deemphasized the trinity and Christ's humanity. Like that's one of the BEST narratives about those first four books. (Like I mean I GET why. But Like... Christ XD)

I rather enjoy the practical themes.
Somehow I managed to go in blind and was completely unprepared for this tour de force. I must admit that I find myself profoundly underwhelmed by the vast majority of modern cinema. Thank my God for this movie. 🖤
