I got to see this at a private screening thanks to the knuckle dragging dumbfuckery of Warner Bros. Discovery. Head and shoulders above a lot of stuff in regards to gorgeous animation, all the more bittersweet when you realize this is probably the last time you’ll ever get anything like this. It just seems like there are more gags that don’t work than there should be. It also can’t help but fall into the trap of inserting a classic modern rock song over a montage that has plagued animation for decades now.
