  What a treat it is to watch studio ghibli films. I’m just such a sucker for this kind of world building…. I’m literally smiling ear to ear here on a plane. 

  I know Italy isn’t like that (alas) but it made me miss my Italian summer. Hopefully my next adventure there isn’t far away.

  This is clearly an amazing movie. It’s exploring a topic that is familiar to everyone but maybe not shown enough in media — what adults were really thinking in your childhood memories. It has great acting and a suspense that kept me paying attention to all the details, no matter how small. 

  Have to admit I had at times trouble understanding the accents but luckily there was a translator with me
