Very fun. Fascinating in its own right. The goofy 50's fake German has definitely aged poorly, and the set in the sub is clearly fabricated, but beyond that it is still a very enjoyable film. The characters are excellent. For a 50's war film I was surprised seeing the attitude that it has toward the war which goes heavily against the modern narrative of the war. Perhaps that narrative hadn't fully developed at the time. Excellent footage of the ship…

Amazing, what a masterpiece! Honestly may be my favorite of the "dollars trilogy," though I haven't seen the others in a long time. Amazing sets, the buildup is fantastic. Interesting how in this more than the others Eastwood shares the star role much more, with Van Cleef having an almost more prominent role. The dynamic and the contrast between the two is what makes this film so enjoyable.

Wow. Fantastic. I did not really know what to expect from this going into it, and it was very well made. Several shots and scenes that were framed so well that it caught me off guard, as it is not by any means the emphasis of the film. Fantasic story, apparently based off of a true story, which makes it all the more astonishing. A lot of interesting characters and such an insane winding plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Some of the most raw masculine displays of emotion that I've ever seen in a movie, as well.

Hilarious film! Fantastic in many ways. A great comedy western film. Sets were fantastically crafted. Characters were hilarious. Plus, a compelling and interesting plot to top it off. Overall a wonderful film.
