I read Junkie by William S. Burroughs 2 months prior to watching this and at the back there's a glossary of junkie lingo which came in useful while watching this film. Even though the novel is completely unrelated and published 18 years apart, I don't think I would have enjoyed as much had I not acquired context from the book. Also fucking Liam Gallagher stole this hairsty. Real ones know the junkies did it first.
