  Live-action cartoon. Stupid and boring and ugly. Result of third-generation inbreeding. Characters are devoid of charisma. Wren is full of smirking arrogance, recklessly putting others in mortal danger. The quasi-Sith are more disciplined, subdued, composed, than the quasi-Jedi, much more like actual Jedi. The story is all exposition, the plot is all busywork. The soundtrack oversells the action; it's cloying and bombastic and gives everything a feeling of irony. Ahsoka runs like a girl.

  Least among Rob Reiner's classics period. Highly derivative of Woody Allen films of the era, but diluted into progenitor of modern romcoms—derivative yet seminal in translating the Woody Allen idiom to wider audiences.

  The tone is pretty schmalzy, everyone taking their divorces in comedic stride, with Louie Armstrong assuring the audience that everything is gonna be alright.
