    Revenge films are seemingly ten-a-penny nowadays and it takes something special for one to stand out over and above the rest. Ballerina here, almost manages to do that.

    Really well made and performed halloween tale. The young cast do a great job of conveying the situation and the dawning realisation of the nefarious goings-on in the small town is what drives this film on.

    It isn't the goriest or the most tense of films but it is enjoyable and brings a decent amount of violence and blood-splattering.

    I enjoyed this. Through the tense moments of the home-invasion, the mysterious backstory of the main character and her treatment by the other locals, to the weird ending it was all well done and entertaining.

    And Kaitlyn Dever does a great job of holding your attention and expressing herself through a variety of emotions and all without a word uttered!
