extremely disappointing from the beginning. the introduction of the most uninteresting and forgettable knock character should’ve been a sign the the rest of the film would be just as underwhelming. eggers tries to compensate for a lackluster introduction by making knock eat a bird on screen later in the movie but it feels like a cheap trick. this would be a reoccurring theme in the film, cheap tricks to compensate for how utterly uninteresting a scene was. eggers’s nosferatu is…
