Take This Job and Shove It 1981
Held a writers strike party the other night, which culminated with showing this movie in the backyard. The audience of out-of-work comedy writers enjoyed it and mocked it in just the right proportions.
David Keith gives an honest to God performance. Everyone else is phoning it in. By the end of the movie, our small group was all invested in the outcome but trying to pretend we weren’t (you know how it is).

Boyka: Undisputed IV 2016
Boyka and Avengement are the only two full-on “Scott Adkins movies” I’ve seen. Based on that sliver of knowledge, I’d have to say: Adkins portrays brutally violent, criminal underdogs facing a crisis of conscience.
This is good. We all know it’s fun to watch Agents Of The State wrestle with how to use their awesome power (Dirty Harry, James Bond, RoboCop, Captain America). But it’s even more satisfying to watch a character on the margins of society choose the side…
