This was surprisingly dark, but still funny and fun and a good watch
This was available to me on the stupid Delta airlines plutoTV platform that kept cutting out with the shitty wifi and breaking for adds and it certainly negatively impacted my viewing experience
still, the heart and wit of this shined through
the romantic chemistry was a bit hit or miss for me and I kept getting frustrated with Baxter, but it was so cute and touching at points that I couldn't be mad. Good to see a man with absolutely no charisma get a win for once

it feels wrong to rate a movie that I was drifting off as I watched, but also if it was super gripping maybe then I would've been awake
biggest complaint is that I'd honestly say the man didn't know THAT much, in the grand scheme of things
some of the fight scenes were really drawn out but it was a good time I guess. Maybe wish I had bought a different criterion movie in this ones place

thank god I was not alive when this movie came out because I would’ve seen it then grown ferally horny for young David Byrne and his giant suit
Gonna start doing a new bit where I pretend to fall down a bunch then go into a dance break
    captivating, magnetic, infectious, delightful
So glad I got to see this in the theater. What the movies are all about!

It actually makes me angry that Emilia Perez and this movie are in the same category for anything, what a wildly better and more meaningful film this is on all fronts
    Stunning, heartbreaking, immersive
I walked into my house still crying after my walk home
I will be thinking about this for a while
