The pacing in some scenes here is absolutely insane. So slow and eery which mixed with the sound design often throwing the audience in sudden silence adds the terror which this film is made of.
The strongest scene by far is when the girl enters the room and stares at the black mark on the wall. It goes completely silent and suddenly we hear the whisper calmly and slowly repeating “Help”. But what makes it so terrifying is how loud…
