It wasn’t supposed to be that good. It wasn’t supposed to be that visually stunning. It wasn’t supposed to actually make me cry. It wasn’t supposed to be one of the best musical biopics I’ve ever seen. And yet, it was all of that.
And that Rock DJ sequence everyone is raving about? Yes. It lives up to the hype. Nothing short of spectacular, it’s what a movie theatre was made for.
It’s funny. It’s Swedish. But it’s so pointless. The lack of story is almost disturbing.
This is a movie about the feet of children and mid-90s interior design.
I never understood how people could dislike or not be genuinely scared by the Blair Witch Project, one of my all time favourite horror movies.
Now I do, because watching Skinamarink put me in their shoes. Despite all the praise this flick got, this is so not my cup of tea. Barely could sit through the first 45 minutes before I completely lost interest. I guess disappearing toilets do not scare me as much as wooden stick figures hanging from trees do.
