  Lowkey this movie is a comfort movie for me (just from 20 mins in up to the hour point) because I love seeing my people prosper, even if for a moment 🇸🇴😁
  I wish the subtitles were better there is so much nuance lost if u don’t understand Somali. Either way I’m a Somali coast guard apologist #sorrynotsorry

  Watched on my insanely long flight to Amman… 
  Tbh I don’t think I fully understood what the assassination plot had to do with the whole environmental case in Louisiana but I enjoyed watching this. It’s like if designated survivor and vertigo had a baby and it was kinda shitty.

  Had a crazy watching experience with Melisa. Some of our mid-film asides included:

  -“What’s up with all the Muslimanity”
  -“Edward Said would have a field day with this one”
  -“He hit that usher glitch move with the knife”
  -“No way he still has the Elvis accent”
  -“Damn look at his chin!”

  The cinematography was good. But also if I had an endless CGI budget I could produce something like this too. Trust.

  My first studio ghibli movie did not disappoint! The animation style is so unique and all of the characters are so richly developed ❤️ so glad I finally got around to watching this!!!!
