    The Wrestler

    ★★★★½

For me personally, this film is a symbol of a major period in my own life.
It shows the addiction that you fall into with this sport. The isolation you experience during these weekends and the incredible feeling of standing in front of a crowd screaming your name. You live your life to experience this feeling over and over again and this pursuit pushes you further away from your family. And to escape the loneliness you push into the next ring.

Not a true story. But many stories that happen exactly like this.

    Pain is an addiction.
    Wrestling is love.

    Ford v Ferrari

    ★★★½

Ford v Ferrari delivers an entertaining, if superficial, ride with fast-paced racing and impressive camerawork that captures every thrill. Christian Bale and Matt Damon bring charisma to the screen, but their characters remain cookie-cutter and under-explored, leaving questions unanswered. The film's real strength lies in its breathtaking racing scenes, which are among the highlights thanks to the outstanding cinematography. An enjoyable viewing, but one would have wished for more substance.

    The Midnight Sky

    ★½

The film fails to create emotional feelings. You don't give a shit about characters. The plot is clichéd, predictable and is on the first page of the worst textbook.
