  Really great start with the idyllic landscape in the background that slowly moves into the trenches as they’re going into the shit. Grips you from the start. Also like the talk and appearance of rats as they’re going through the remnants of the German camp. Loss of sight also seen a couple times with bandages over a soldiers eyes and the temporary blinding of another by large amounts of dust; likely because they don’t know just what they’re getting into. Cool because of the single cut in the entire movie.
