This might actually be my second favorite movie by Tarantino (my first will always be Pulp). I love the films of the 70s, especially the low budget ones, and to me this was a perfect mixture of classic and modern exploitation. Nothing was held back. I enjoyed this movie. It reminded me of the time when I was a kid making video games, this would be the movie I would want to see. Especially if you’re young and Black - you have never seen that in the history of cinema. There were appearances of some of my favorite characters, loaded with all the references from a movie studio that stays dear to my soul. I think this is a great follow up to the first movie that was special to me when I was growing up.

Now make Like Mike 3 😄 jk don’t do that

Every film school should show this movie if they don’t already. I love everything about it. Talk about making something out of nothing - George Miller is extremely brilliant for pulling this off. Love love love this.

I’m just gonna say flat out I didn’t really enjoy this movie. I thought it was pretty good, but what was more impressive was the cinematography and the visuals than the story.

Brad Pitt gives a good performance as Roy, but for a character to be so isolated and so stoic, you really have to wonder what’s circling in their head. Especially with all that. I felt like the voiceover should’ve been way more creative than it was - instead…
