Drove home in silence for 20 minutes so I could process what I just watched.
Easily my favorite movie of 2024.
I went into this movie knowing absolutely nothing and within the first two minutes I knew I was going to really like it; and already at the thirty minute mark, I knew it would make my Top 5. I know they had so much fun making this like wtf was that?
Big movie for growing up gay, emo, and with some sense of dysphoria.
Truly living my best 2013 Tumblr era rn. Everyone was great, but Viola Davis absolutely DECIMATED playing Dr. Gaul. She ate that for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and desert. The pacing felt hella fast but not too mad. There were a few changes from the books that I am not mad at, but I mostly wanted to see Snake-lensia to no avail 😔🐍🚫
I literally watched this movie twice in one day.
