would love to watch something directed by Schoenbrun but not written by them.
somehow despite the great lighting, soundtrack, art direction i am left soooo bored by this. it really all came down to a terrible script and bad acting and odd decision making ?
why on earth would you 4th wall break tell the story via monologue over actually showing the plot happening.
perhaps Schoenbrun is better at creating short films and if this didn’t have the 1hr40something runtime then i wouldn’t feel so let down by the lack of plot or climax.
