Very similar to the first in many, many ways. I love the first gladiator. First thing I noticed was the aspect ratio lol. Awesome cinematography with great transitions between shots. Some great use of lighting, especially to drive the horror. Great makeup for Orlok (especially the back of his head). All of the main actors had a performance that captivated me. Early on, they had me questioning Orlok’s true nature, and Nicholas Hoult’s nervous performance really sold the Count’s nature well.
