In case you’re wondering how much it takes to create a movie with absolutely no spine of a decent story, it’s $320 million.

Not great, but not bad either. It gets silly at times and the logical plot holes come in at different points, but it’s entertaining.

I rewatched this recently and this movie is going to hold up way into the future. The story is engaging. The acting, especially the lead actress’s work, is well done. The action holds a candle up to the action audiences experienced in the first Predator movie. The creature design of the actual Predator is *chef’s kiss* so so good. Plus, I saw this specific Predator as not only well-equipped and intelligent, but also more feral and primal. Much like the first Predator, this one felt like a genuine threat.
