loved how scared everyone was of the spazzy snow angel-ing (and how concretely it was regarded as proof of these characters' alienness).
on horror: a script like this wouldn't fly today... a sense of threat is omnipresent, yes, though i'd say to its own detriment; sources of fear arise as randomly as popcorn, which makes for novel pacing but not one that accumulates with much heft.
great to throw on in the background during xmas with the fam, tho ;)
