A lot of Bong's trying to communicate--and sometimes it's right, sometimes it's missing. I could see his objection to human-experiment, but he is not enough to present it, and left me in confused in the end.
Surely, need to second time to grasp the overall issue he wants to convey.
Slightly reminds me of Rosemary's Baby, or maybe this movie is a modern version of the movie? I'm not sure, at least I should try watching it again.
and for a while until I watch it again, Hereditary is one of the best of A24.
Méliès sees cinema, can do things that, seemingly unlimited, are impossible to do before. And he managed to do it. One of the early wonders of the film, the beginning of the creation of the genre: science fiction (and fantasy).
