Packed with some of the craziest, most stylish, brutal, bloody, bone-crunching violence imaginable. Death dispatches are absolutely gruesome; full-on horror gore & splatter. So many "HOLY SHIT!!!" moments. The action choreography, editing, & pounding soundtrack combine to form something really special. Costume designs are cool as fuck. The story is weak and all over the place, but you're watching this for the god-tier jaw dropping action spectacle, delivered by a genre veteran.

This film was so much fun, so energetic, highly political and truly exciting to watch. The direction feels special; it's choppy, chaotic, deadpan, original and very engaging. It's densely packed with tons of throw-away gags; especially if you're Irish / Scottish. Great performances from the central rappers-turned-actors. Cheeky, ambitious, and a statement in every sense of the word - this deserves some serious award recognition!

The sound, lighting, editing, & direction are all a bit shit, but this is all about the O.T.T. practical gristle and gore SFX. Even at 68 mins this could be a bit tighter, but it's so goofy you can see the scrappy charm. Bonkers British regional accents all over the dubbing track! More "weird" than "cult" for me.

A proper old-school, thorough, factual, & informative documentary. Beautifully photographed footage of the full climb - from civilization to the top of the world - and locals / Sherpas, all of which usually gets skipped in other Everest docs. Ends with one of the most breathtaking shots I've ever seen. Even against today's extreme sports, this feels like a totally mad stunt to attempt! If you enjoy films about Everest, this is one of the best.

A gleefully silly and surprisingly fun action comedy romp. Some of the maddest, funniest, and most brutal gore I've seen in ages. Great fights and engaging physical performances, not least Hartnett, who carries the film (and Marko Zaror who tears up his scenes). Punchy script and multiple laugh out loud moments. Strong directorial debut - "Bullet Train" on a plane, but 1/10th the budget, half as serious, and twice as fun. Why aren't more people talking about this? I demand at least a trilogy!!

The fact that this is getting a wide theatrical release is insane!!!

Built upon centuries of Sci-Fi stories and horror cinema: there's bits of everything in here from Frankenstein, Kubrick, Gaspar Noe, Disney, and Cronenberg through to the fringiest fringes like Hong Kong Category III and the New French Extremity. It's challenging, it's uncomfortable, it's utterly disgusting and completely over-the-top - a hardcore 18 rating, fully deserved.

On her second film Coralie Fargeat shows absolute mastery of the medium; I've…
