to all the filmmakers who keep imagining the afterlife as endless movie sets: please go take a vacation!
i strongly disagreed with the values the film presents and confirms, but i was allergic to something in the cinema - possibly, and unfortunately, allergic to chen bo-lin - so i kept sniffing under my mask, and the people next to me probably thought i was sobbing to this horror comedy about merit-based work (existence) culture, where, to me, “to be seen”…
