  the problem with watching this and Killers of the Flower Moon on the same day is that my brain thinks I've watched two movies about someone plotting to murder a rich family for money yet the "hero" of the story is wildly different

  
  anyway as someone who really liked The Talented Mr Ripley this was a fun ride. the moment the title showed up in such a saturated red promised a colourful movie. the sound went equally hard. predictable plot but enjoyable execution.
