Bong Joon Ho’s messaging is super clear on this one, and Robert Pattinson is in rare form(s). If you go into this expecting to be blown away like the first time you watched Parasite, you’ll be disappointed, but if you take it at face value, it’s undoubtedly a fun watch.

I’m gonna go out on a whim and say I think I understand what Sean Baker was going for on this one, but it’s hard to stick the landing when the protagonist is just an actual piece of shit, no matter how good the performances are. Still a decent film, but disappointing compared to his other work.
