holy shit i loved this. yes it's low-budget exploitation crap, but there's an actual horror direction vision here. it's a consciously stupid premise (formerly conjoined twins, one a regular human & the other a monster who lives in a basket, seek gory revenge on their previous doctors) but its never played in the film as a joke. duane's awkwardness is genuine, and characters like sharon and casey appear as fully real and uncaracatured. and this makes the wicker-sprung murders that much…
