Ruffalo's performance was distracting. Still can't decide if it's the best or the worst thing about this movie, which means it was at least interesting.
I might be fucking crazy, but I kept seeing Wes Anderson moments, namely when the creepers are pulling Mickey up a tunnel and when they try to put the big rock in the space garage thing.
This might not be as rewatchable as Bong Junho's "important" movies, but he has a way of reinforcing tropes while subverting them. I'm always overtly reminded of other movies but still surprised about where he takes the story.
