Maanagaram 2017
LCU master's first film. Ofc I'm gonna watch it.
Its a nice well made film with the it's hyperlink structure, the layers of each character. It's not too confusing either, we know who's who and keep on ur toes to guess who will do what. Chennai is portrayed well. The city definitely plays a character itself in the film (aka the film's title). The songs slap, both romance and the gritty voice.

Be Happy 2025
It's directed by Remo D'Souza. So, ofc the direction is bad and the story is cliché. But...towards the end, I was worried it would have some serious shit or have a good ending for no reason, it didn't. It took the cliché and used it all the way to the end. That's still fine. Mouna Raagam 1986
POINTERS:
1. This film is what if Wong Kar Wai was born in T nagar.
2. This film is also what if Richard Linklater was born in Thiruvanmiyur.
3. Also what if Nora Ephron was born in Koyembedu.
4. Again also what if Richard Curtis was born in Velachery.
(I can come up with a LOT MORE.)The film is, a certified classic. Great premise, grabs ur attention right away. This feels one of those romance Classics, right along with Mohanlal's Thoovanthumbikal and Wong Kar Wai's anything.

Nostalgia of Everything 2024
I love you Emir Bhai ❤️
Nostalgia of everything correctly performs what the title exactly says. The film recollected different moments of one's nostalgia and ponders "Am I wasting away my future by praising the old days, or were the old days actually better?"
The film is a poignant exploration of memory and self-reflection. Through its experimental approach, Hüseynov invites viewers to confront their own nostalgic sentiments, making it a significant contribution to contemporary experimental cinema.
The whole film is one sea breeze that teases across your cheek when you sit on the beach at sunset."Translated from by
