  LCU master's first film. Ofc I'm gonna watch it.
  Its a nice well made film with the it's hyperlink structure, the layers of each character. It's not too confusing either, we know who's who and keep on ur toes to guess who will do what. Chennai is portrayed well. The city definitely plays a character itself in the film (aka the film's title). The songs slap, both romance and the gritty voice.
  Good debut.

  It's directed by Remo D'Souza. So, ofc the direction is bad and the story is cliché. But...towards the end, I was worried it would have some serious shit or have a good ending for no reason, it didn't. It took the cliché and used it all the way to the end. That's still fine.   The film is, a certified classic. Great premise, grabs ur attention right away. This feels one of those romance Classics, right along with Mohanlal's Thoovanthumbikal and Wong Kar Wai's anything.
