  There is certainly fun to be had here, but it is tarnished by how much you can buy into the ride the film takes you on. It certainly would have helped if the natives were actually speaking in Swedish instead of the English tongue that they say they hate so much, that may have just added a certain level of authenticity for me and in turn helped me to gel with how the rest of the story plays out.

  You can feel that Miranda flair oozing out of every musical number and the story is beautifully relatable.

  There are no heroes, no villains, just an all too familiar family dynamic with all the pressures & insecurities laid bare.

  It was lovely… and I cried of course.
