  Never really been a fan of mixing supernatural stuff with serial killer/procedural but yeah, this one has its moments. Still, it'd have been way better if the investigation part didn't feel like templates stitched together.

  PS: Nic Cage was terrifying.

  The liberal in-your-face politics was so lousy. The makers tried hard to construct scenes only to make loud political statements. 'Kuttappan' is a textbook example of how not to write a character. The pretentious, overdramatic dialogues and a weak script make Puzhu a frustrating watch. Nothing happens in the movie for quite a long time. They had plenty of opportunities (Kunchan's character, for example. It could have been a shocking sequence if they had given enough depth to their past.…

  Even though I'm a sucker for procedural movies, this one tested my patience.

Following
