Glorified religious propaganda. Avoid at all costs if you consider yourself even a moderate fan of tasteful cinema. This movie uses the setting of 1980's Berlin to evoke cheap emotions from the audience without actually having to craft an interesting plot or atmosphere. The plot involving angels is laughable at best, yet Bruno Ganz overacts beyond the level of it being comedic. The best part of this film is the fact that Nick Cave is in it, and even his acting in this particular role is painfully subpar. Absolute garbage.
