  Very good story and good film but, wow, how much cocaine was Tony Scott and his editor on? The whole film was like an early 2000s MTV video. I would have struggled seeing this in a movie theatre. Dakota Fanning is incredible in it.

  Really enjoyed this! I was expecting a slapstick action flick. But it hit me on a few levels. It had proper Christmas Magic! Very well done. Well written, well made and well acted. I'll try to watch this every year.

  Thoroughly enjoyed this. Very nearly gave it 4 stars. Don't think I can give 3.5 stars on Letterboxd but I would if I could. Thought it was very well filmed. Gyllenhll was great. McGregor was a little bit OTT in places but that was to be expected.
