Interstellar 2014
I regret not seeing this in the theater, opting instead to put it on my "watch list" for over a decade. But in some galaxy I saw it opening day.
I think both the hype and the jabs are justified. Love being a variable in the theory of relativity is pretty corny.
But the world building, visual imagery, score, tension, and weaving of events together were all super rad.

All style, no story (but not necessarily in a bad way).
I really can't tell if I liked this or not but I'm leaning towards yes. There isn't a plot to speak of and anything that would be a noteworthy moment in another movie just feels like a thing that happened in this - which does give it a sense of realism that I appreciated.
It's 85min of people looking and acting cool with cool music in the background. But there feels like something sitting below the surface with each character that you're about to find out but never do.
