  The story is just kinda bland. Stewart and Hemsworth don’t add any charisma to it. Charlize Theron is the best part by far. She eats up all her scenery. I do like a lot of the aesthetic choices. The magic mirror is pretty cool. I don’t feel that the dwarfs really add much to the story. I also don’t really have much investment in the general political conflict. There are a couple elements of good stuff in there but it all doesn’t really come together in an interesting or entertaining way.

  Haven’t seen since I was kid. Wanted to rewatch before seeing the new live action remake. Here’s some of my takeaways on this rewatch.

  - The animation is very impressive, especially for 1937.

  - Snow White is clearly delusional.

  - Does she not have like an actual name?

  - Does the Prince know that Snow White is a princess? Or from his perspective is he just trying to get with the maid?

  - Snow White is obviously not into this…
