Villanueve just makes good movie. Sicario is tied together with a great screenplay, solid cinematography, good dialogue, solid action, a cast that delivers, philosophical themes plus great tension and world building. Could have used some more action, but Villenueve does such a good job building the world with visuals and dialogue to counter.
