  Somehow worse than its predecessor.
  Fine, it’s more violent but it is so much more meandering and there is even less tension than the first one.
  Mark Duplass: the only good thing about the first film, STINKS IN THIS ONE. He’s trying too hard this time and becomes completely absurd.
  Sara was dreadful and her motives made no sense at all.
  Ending was so stupid.
  There was no need for this to be made, it just makes the whole concept of the first film feel so implausible and removes any shred of realism.

  The choice to use 16mm for the 'Mantan Show' sequences is a stroke of genius on Lee's part. The early digital is so grim and ugly that the romantic warmth of celluloid should be a relief - but it's not given the subject, bringing about sinister implications around the medium of cinema and it's history.
