Conclave 2024
Beautifully filmed. Great writing. I was surprised to be so entertained by a movie set in closed-quarters in the Vatican. The themes were nuanced and interesting. The acting was spot on with Ralph Fiennes putting an Oscar worthy performance.
My only issue with the film was the last twist…. I found it didn’t add anything to the narrative and muddled up the overall story.Translated from by -
The Insult 2017
This is an unbelievable movie.
It is original, filled with nuance and trusts in the audiences capacity to understand the stakes.
Having said that, the audience needs to have a minimum of understanding of Lebanese political history… again… a minimum.
